Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a woman reported being dragged into a vehicle in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened near Boro Pizzas on Linthorpe Road near Boro Pizzas at around 6.45pm.
Following a verbal altercation involving a man and a woman a woman in her 20s reported being dragged into a van by a man known to her.
The vehicle was later stopped by police on Park Road North.

A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody at this time.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police added: “Enquiries are ongoing and officers would like to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward.
