Police have located a teenager reported as missing from home in an “urgent” appeal issued earlier today (Sunday August 21).

Jake Burlison, aged 19, was said to have last been seen in the Marton Road area of Middlesbrough at about 9am.

But in an updated message early this afternoon Cleveland Police reported: "Missing Jake, 19, has been located successfully."

The force thanked all those who helped share the appeal.
