Police executing a search warrant seized suspected illegal substances and items indicative of drug supply and use.
The warrant was executed at an address in the Market Place, Richmond, arising from, “information provided by the community”.
Officers forced entry to the premises and, inside, recovered a number of items relating to drug supply and drug use.
These included a quantity of a white powder which has been sent for laboratory analysis.

No-one was at the address at the time of the raid and North Yorkshire Police’s investigation is said to be ongoing.
Officers from the force’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, Response Team and Operation Support Unit all assisted in the execution of the warrant.
PC Lauren Batey, who was part of the operation, said: “Drug dealing will not be tolerated in Richmond and we would like to thank the local community for reporting their concerns to us.

“We are able to act when intelligence is received, and we encourage the local community to report any information regarding drug dealing in your local community.
