The price of filling up a tank of petrol is continuing to fall slowly after months of motorists facing sky-high prices.
The average cost of a litre of unleaded petrol was 173.97p on Sunday (August 14), down from 190.65p just over a month ago, according to data from RAC Fuel Watch.
It was a similar story for the price of diesel, with a litre costing on average 184.5p on Sunday also down from almost £2 at the start of July.

Prices have started falling over the last month after rates rocketed over June.
