A man has been taken to hospital after a suspected hit-and-run collision in County Durham.
Emergency services were called to Fishburn just before 7 pm on Saturday evening.
The male pedestrian was struck by a car outside the Wo Ping Chinese takeaway on Salters Lane.

The vehicle involved has then made off from the scene in the direction of Sedgefield.
Police are now looking for a dark blue VW Scirocco.
The man was taken to James Cook University Hospital by North East Ambulance Service.

Police are now looking for any dash cam footage, CCTV or witnesses who may be able to help with their inquiry.
