Police are appealing for witnesses to a report of assault at The Blue Bell Public House on Acklam Road, Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 9.30pm on Monday, August 8.
A 36-year-old man suffered a laceration to his arm during the incident but did not attend hospital.
Cleveland Police confirmed a 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was bailed with conditions whilst enquiries continue.
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have further information is asked to contact Detective Constable Caroline Baker on 101, quoting incident number 139957.
