Britain will see temperatures of up to 28C today (Sunday August 7) as yet another heatwave comes to UK shores.
Forecasters are predicting temperatures around the late teens today, possibly pushing into the twenties in the North East with even hotter weather to come in the next few days.
Temperatures could reach 21C today as some parts of the country bask in 28C heat.
According to the Met Office it will be a bright start for many in the region, but cloud will increase from the north west during the morning.

Some rain is possible, particularly over the Pennines, but most places will stay dry.
UV levels will be high and pollen levels are expected to be medium.
The same picture continues into Monday and the rest of the week with high temperatures of 26C expected to come in Darlington on Wednesday and Thursday.
