A trader has been accused of fraud and failing to fit a patio door in an upmarket stretch of Teesside.
Stuart Richard Wilson appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court for a brief hearing on Tuesday morning.
The 46-year-old has been charged with unfair trading and fraud for failing to order and fit a patio door at a home for a couple in Davison Close, Wynyard, between August 2020 and February 2021.
Wilson, of Paddock Green, Wynyard, attended in jeans and a blue jacket to confirm his name to the court. Nobody attended the hearing from Stockton Council – the body prosecuting the trader.
No pleas were entered during the brief hearing. Chairman of the bench Martin Brown granted an adjournment.
Wilson is set to appear again on September 2.
