The first images of the scene have been revealed after a woman in her 70s was rushed to hospital after she was hit by a bus on Thursday (July 28) morning.
Emergency services were called to Parkfield Road in Stockton at around 10am after reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
Officers from Cleveland Police have currently closed off the road to allow emergency services to conclude their investigations.

A spokesperson for the police force said: "Police were called to a report of a collision around 10.10am this morning on Bridge Road, Stockton.
"A woman aged in her seventies has been taken to James Cook University Hospital.
"The road is currently closed from St John’s crossing towards Yarm Road."
In the aftermath of the collision, images from North East Alert have been released that show the extent of the bus crash and the aftermath of the emergency service presence.

The images show specialist officers working at the scene and collecting evidence, while placing evidence markers.
It's not yet known the condition of the woman at this stage but she was transported to James Cook Hospital via road ambulance.
The Great North Air Ambulance was also scrambled to the scene.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said: "
"We received a call at 10.02am this morning to reports of a road traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a bus on the A1305 junction with Bridge Road, Stockton-on-Tees.
"We dispatched two specialist paramedics and requested support from the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
"One patient was taken by road to The James Cook University Hospital for further treatment."
