A town centre road is set to be closed for three weeks to allow for maintenance work to be carried out.
The closure is expected to cause disruption to traffic in Darlington.
Otley Terrace is closed from the junction with Whessoe Road and under the railway bridge until August 14.

Utility company GTC is carrying out excavation work near the junction in conjunction with the work being carried out on Whessoe Road.
Motorists in Darlington are being advised to find an alternative route.
There are traffic lights on Whessoe Road and Meynell Road, which will also be in place until August 14, to allow for work to table place on electric cables.

The work affects Whessoe Road from the roundabout connecting Bonomi Way, Meynell Road and Whessoe Road heading North East for about 160m.
