A body has been found in the search for a man who has been reported as missing last week.
Officers confirmed today (Tuesday) that a body had been located in the Newport area of Middlesbrough.
Formal identification is yet to take place but police officers have informed the family of missing Jack Millward.

The 25-year-old had been reported as missing last Wednesday, July 20 after having been last seen at about 4pm in the Acklam Road area of Middlesbrough.
The death is being treated as non-suspicious, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police said.
Mr Millward’s family is being supported by specialist officers.
