Crime Scene Investigators have been spotted at the scene of a house fire investigation after a bedroom at a Teesside property was destroyed and the rest of the home was significantly damaged by smoke.
Specialist officers from Cleveland Police were seen attending a house on Rudyard Avenue in Roseworth, Stockton, on Tuesday (July 25) morning after an early morning blaze.
According to Cleveland Fire Brigade, a fire broke out at the property at around 12.50am – with firefighters from Stockton and Thornaby tackling the flames until they were extinguished at 3.10am.

During the incident, one bedroom was 100 per cent fire damaged. There was also 50 per cent fire damage and 50 per cent fire heavy smoke damage to the first floor.
Despite the flames being extinguished at around 3am, an emergency service presence stayed at the scene throughout the morning and remain at the scene on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s not yet known why crime scene investigators are involved in the investigation, but Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire Brigade have been asked for further comment.
