Lovers of vintage cars enjoyed a vintage vehicle rally in Darlington town centre last weekend (Saturday, July 23).

Over 150 vehicles were on display at The Darlington Vintage Vehicle Rally.

There was a buzz in the town as it brought plenty of people into the centre.

Countless cars were spread around pedestrian areas of the centre, including High Row and the Market Square, meaning few could resist having a look round.

It was organised by Peter Bulmer, who runs the Waterhouse Kitchen in the indoor market in Darlington, to promote footfall in the town centre.

It certainly had that effect on Saturday as the town had a great atmosphere with floods of people on High Row and the Market Square.

The market stalls on Blackwellgate that day also contributed to the overall buzz and it was great to see Darlington so busy.
