A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was involved in a serious collision on Sunday.
The man, who is in his 60s, was riding a scooter on the A19 near the A689 Wolviston junction when he was involved in a collision with a white Mitsubishi Outlander.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where he remains critically ill.

The crash happened at about 1.45pm on the northbound carriageway.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
The scooter involved is described as cream and green.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and he remains in police custody.
