Emergency services were called following the suddent death of a resident in a North East home.
Police and paramedics attended a property in Yarm at around 6pm on Thursday after eceiving reports of an emergency incident.
Armed police were spotted by neighbours in Blackfriars, a residential estate near Yarm Primary School.
Crime scene investigators were also at the scene as police cordoned off the street while responding to the incident.
Crews from the North East Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, while a helicopter from the Great North Air Ambulance was seen landing in a field near the primary school.
It is not clear how the person died, yet police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "Police sadly attended a sudden death in this area of Yarm at around 6pm yesterday.
"Police officers provided support to the family and we'd ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."
