Hundreds turned out to celebrate Seaham Carnival this weekend to enjoy the events in the glorious sunshine.
The popular carnival started on Friday and included a market, a food and drink ‘village’, performances, and showings of two classic 1970s films.
Saturday saw a ‘mini miners gala,’ an acrobatic performance and plenty to keep little ones amused with pirate-themed activities.
On Sunday the fun continued with free crazy golf, a penalty shoot-out, a climbing wall, and fairground rides.
