The Northern Echo has opened an online book of condolence for people to leave their tributes to Christopher Greaves who has died age just 47.
The dad-of-five and grandad to four, and teaching assistant at Wyvern Academy, in Darlington died last Thursday.
He had been described as a "bubbly" gentleman, who would go the extra mile for anyone, by his family and colleagues.

Since his death, many have been paying their own respects and tributes to him.
