These are the business owners in the North East that have just been named and shamed on the Government's list of tax defaulters.
HMRC has published the details of those businesses given financial penalties for failing to comply with tax obligations or deliberately filing errors in tax returns.
HMRC's Publishing Details of Deliberate Defaulters scheme flags up when a person or business has made at least one deliberate default on more than £25,000.
The Government body says that it is necessary to publish the details of those that do this in order to act as a deterrent on those flouting the rules.
In the region, four individuals have been named - with one of them failing to pay the correct tax over a seven-year period.
Between them they have managed to avoid paying hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of money into the system, while other companies and individuals have.
The HMRCs list is updated every three months and the information is completely wiped after a year.
The information below is listed on the government website on the day this story was published.
A former Hartlepool man has been fined almost £1 million for not telling HMRC about a huge boost to his income.
Brian Morton, who used to live at Fairstone Lodge, in Sheraton, Hartlepool made £1,845,958.24 between Apr 2012 and 5 Apr 2013, but has been fined £922,979.12 for not declaring 'income from a capital gain'.
He was named in the HMRC's latest list of deliberate tax defaulters, which is updated regularly as a register of offences and fines.
