A Cleveland Police officer is facing the sack after she was caught drink driving in her BMW Mini.
PC Angela Godfrey was stopped by colleagues as she drove along Hemlington Grange Way, close the the force's headquarters in Middlesbrough, and was found to be over the drink drive limit.
The officer admitted the offence when she appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court last month.
She pleaded guilty to drink driving after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in your blood, namely 109 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, exceeded the prescribed limit.
The 39-year-old will now face a disciplinary hearing to decide on her future at the force.

According to the force, the officer is alleged to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct relating to an allegation that on Thursday, March 24, she drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her blood exceeded the legally prescribed limit.
The officer is alleged to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct in that on 10 June 2022, she was convicted at Teesside Magistrates Court of an offence contrary to section 5 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, having pleaded guilty to the offence.
PC Godfrey's gross misconduct hearing will be held at the Training & Administration Hub, Cleveland Fire Brigade, Queens Meadow Business Park, Hartlepool, at 10am on Wednesday, July 20.
