Today, the weather forecaster has extended the amber warning into Tuesday, as the UK is set to see three days of extreme, record-breaking heat.
The warning, which is in place from midnight on Sunday, July 17 until midnight on Tuesday, July has revealed that temperatures may lead to “potential serious illness or danger to life.”
Changes to working practices and daily routines will also be required, the forecaster has warned.
