The Great Yorkshire Show is about to kick off and with tickets all sold out - what should visitors get there?
The Harrogate event is expected to draw 140,000 people bringing together titans of food, farming, agriculture and the countryside with passionate supporters from all over.
Farming celebrities including TV host Matt Baker, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, Countryfile presenter Adam Henson, Peter Wright from the Yorkshire Vet are scheduled to appear.

How to get to the Great Yorkshire Show 2022
Getting to the Great Yorkshire Show by car
The Great Yorkshire Showground is located on the A661 Wetherby Road south of Harrogate, 1.5 miles from the junction of the A658, next to Sainsbury’s supermarket.
Visitors are advised to follow the signed routes to the Great Yorkshire Show as they approach Harrogate.
The show has recommended ticketholders do not rely on satellite navigation systems as these may direct you onto a route with limited access or temporary restrictions.

Car Parking at the Great Yorkshire Show
Car parking is said to be free of charge and visitors will find 'extensive' parking at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Car parks open at 6 am each day, according to the organiser's website.

Transdev, The Harrogate Bus Company is operating a free return bus service from Harrogate Bus Station (next to the Railway Station).
The shuttle bus to the Showground will run daily from 7.30am until 6.30pm.
Buses will depart every 20 minutes from the town centre and will all be low floor, double decks, with buggy spaces for families.
Visitors will be dropped off at White Gate.
You should also note that there is no service from Hornbeam Park station.
A direct route from Hornbeam Park station to the Showground will be available via the Showground Greenway and this will be signed over the Show days.
Transdev, The Harrogate Bus Company, also run the number 7 bus from Leeds and Wetherby.
You can catch it every 30 mins and it goes right past the showground entrance, meaning that you won't need to take the shuttle bus from Harrogate.

If you fancy cycling to the Great Yorkshire Show, you should know secure bike parking is available at Blue Gate and White Gate.
If you need help to find these entrances, a traffic management steward will be on site to assist you.
