At the time there was a variable 40mph speed limit in place.

His case went before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Friday (July 1) for sentencing after Manson previously pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit.

The 61-year-old, of Honeywood Gardens, Darlington was given a six-month driving ban with magistrates saying the disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.

Manson was also ordered to pay a total of £232 in court fines and charges.
