Chaos ensued in the Tory party last night when it was announced that Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid resigned from their roles as Chancellor and Health Secretary.
However, many will be wondering where our North East Tory MPs are standing as the party seems to be falling apart at the seams.
MP for Stockton South Matt Vickers seems to be continuing to back the PM and there has been no indication that he will be resigning his role as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Home Office Ministers.

The news comes after a string of Parliamentary Private Secretary MPs resigned last night following the resignation of Richmond MP and Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid.
In the fallout of resignations, Nadhim Zahawi was appointed chancellor and Steve Barclay was appointed health secretary.
Rishi Sunak made the shock announcement last night and issued a statement on Twitter stressing that “the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously.”
He added: “I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning”.

He also said he had been “loyal” to Mr Johnson.
“On those occasions where I disagreed with you privately, I have supported you publicly”.

Mr Sunak also wrote: “In preparation for our proposed joint speech on the economy next week, it has become clear to me that our approaches are fundamentally too different.
“I am sad to be leaving Government but I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that we cannot continue like this.”
