A cyclist was taken to hospital after a crash in Darlington today (Friday, July 1).
The crash happenened on the A167 on Northgate near Machine Mart in Darlington at around 12:20 this afternoon.
This caused traffic jams up to Morrisons on North Road with very slow-moving traffic.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called shortly after 1pm this afternoon (July 1) to reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle on Northgate, Darlington.
"The cyclist was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital as a precaution and the road is now clear."
