TWO men have appeared in court following a car chase which ended at the Sands in Durham on Thursday (June 30).
Gavin Burridge, 37, of Cedars, Penshaw, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates' Court accused of affray and obstructing a PC.
Jordan Cuthill, 31, of Swaledale Crescent, Penshaw, appeared at the same time before magistrates charged with dangerous driving, fail to stop, having no insurance and driving whilst disqualified.

The case was adjourned to Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court for reports to be prepared.
The next hearing is scheduled to take place at 2pm on Thursday, July 28.
