And wellness website WellBox has analysed crime rates, population size, and peaceful outdoor activities to discover the most tranquil staycations to reduce burnout.

According to the study, Reeth in North Yorkshire comes in at number four in the top ten rankings.

The village, which is a popular tourist destination in Swaledale near Richmond, achieved a peace score of 71.6 out of 100.

Its tiny population of 724 inhabitants and crime score of 12 likely helped and it is the only North Yorkshire location to make the top ten.

Devon takes three of the top five spots, with Dartmouth and Kingswear coming first and second and Croyde coming in at fifth.

Along with Reeth, Over Haddon in the Peak District makes up the top five most tranquil locations.

Two places in Cumbria, Keswick and Bassenthwaite, are the only other northern locations in the top ten, coming in a sixth and eighth respectively.
