A WAD wad of cash and cocaine was intercepted following a short pursuit through Eldon, near Shildon, on Monday morning (June 27).
A Durham Police spokesperson said, PC Peart of Roads and Armed Policing, spotted a silver E-class Mercedes driving erratically as he patrolled through the village just before noon (June 27).
He continued to follow the vehicle into New Row and it eventually came to a stop.

PC Peart then searched the vehicle under the section 23 misuse of drugs act and discovered around £900 in cash and a quantity of class A drugs.
The driver, a woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and driving under the influence after failing a drugs wipe.
She has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
