A SCHOOL has shut indefinitely after its water supply turned off.
Stokesley School has closed with immediate effect just a day after emergency repairs were carried out following a water leak.
Workers from Northumbrian Water were at the scene on Thursday, with customers in the TS9 postcode also experiencing no water or low pressure.
A statement from the school read: “The water has gone off unexpectedly and therefore we unfortunately have to close school with immediate effect. Please see your emails for further information.
“Due to the large number of students leaving site, we are dismissing students once their bus / parent has arrived.”
