A GATESHEAD-based production company has announced exciting new commissions for the BBC.

A ten-part BBC One Daytime and BBC England co-commission, Emergency Vets, and a return of the ever-popular BBC Three and BBC England series, Angels of The North, which is returning for a fourth series, will be on our screens soon. Both series will be made from Twenty Six 03’s Gateshead headquarters.

Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime, Helen Munson said: “I’m delighted to be working with Twenty Six 03, a North East based production company, on this new series, set in the North East, celebrating the amazing skill and dedication of the staff at a world-class veterinary referrals centre. Following the success of the first three series, Angels of The North returns for a ten-episode outing. Cameras will return to find Sammyjo at her salon and long-time family friend Shane at his tattoo and piercing studio as they continue to run their respective businesses with a few new faces.
