We are lucky to have a hugely popular theme park on our doorstep with Flamingo Land – so here’s everything you need to know about when it’s open and how much it costs.
With the summer weather creeping in and the days becoming longer and longer, many are looking for good places to go for a family day out, and where else best to start.
The popular theme park has a lot to offer – with a lot more on the horizon – from thrill rides to exotic animals, it’s got you covered.
It earlier this year hit the headlines after a viral TikTok video showed dummies being flung from a moving rollercoaster.

The video, posted by GoThemeParks, has attracted thousands of views on TikTok and appears to show the dummies leaving their seats as the 'Sik' ride approaches a loop.
However, according to the user, there was no cause for alarm as the dummies had not been fully secured at the time of the test and the park had used the wrong type of dummies.
It is thought the new £18m rollercoaster will be opening very soon and is being launched in collaboration with the Scarborough fashion brand SilkSilk.
How much does it cost to get into Flamingo Land?
The cost of entering the popular theme park depends much on the time you intend to visit ranging from £29.00 to £39.50.

For senior citizens, this is reduced to £20 in advance and £35 if you pay on the day.
Children of three years old or under can attend for free and disabled guests can bring a carer free of charge, but still pay £29 in advance and £49 on the day.
