The family of the boy who sadly died in a crash have paid tribute to the beloved four-year-old who had a “beautiful smile”.
Isaac Matthew Crofts died after being involved in a crash in Skelton, North Yokshire, on Saturday.
His family have described him as a beloved grandson, son and nephew, with a beautiful smile and was adored by all who knew him.
His family are devastated by his death and have asked for privacy as they begin to grieve the unimaginable loss of a child, Cleveland Police said.
Police officers are supporting the family and thanked the public for their help in the aftermath of the incident.
A statement from the force added: “Police would again like to thank the members of the public who assisted at the scene.
“We understand this tragic incident will have an impact on many people in the Skelton community.”
Police were called just after 2pm on Saturday to Grampian Road in Skelton to a report of a child who had been in collision with a car.
“Isaac's family have asked us to relay that they are not willing to speak to any media representatives at this time and would not welcome any approaches,” the statement said. “They ask for privacy as they grieve.”
