POLICE have launched a fresh appeal for a missing teenager who disappeared over a month ago from his North East home.
Kieran Williams, 18, was first reported missing after he failed to return to his home on Esplanade West in Sunderland on April 18.
A missing person investigation was launched, and several lines of enquiry have been ongoing since his disappearance, including gathering of CCTV footage and house-to-house searches.

Despite the investigations and numerous appeals, Kieran still hasn’t been found.
On Monday (May 30), Northumbria Police have launched a new appeal after Kieran’s loved ones and our officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are urging members of the public to get in touch with even the smallest detail which could help bring him home safely.
Kieran is described as white, 5ft 10, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and of slim build.
He was last seen wearing a blue and grey jacket.
The police also had information to suggest Kieran was in the Ford Estate area on the day he went missing.
Detective Inspector Matt Steel, the officer leading the investigation into Kieran’s disappearance, said: “We are urging people to let us know if they have dashcam footage and home CCTV since Kieran went missing to see if they can help us plot his movements.
“Even the smallest detail or piece of information could help locate him and bring him back to his loved ones safe.”
Anyone with any information about Kieran's whereabouts is asked to contact us via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page on Northumbria Police’s website or contact 101, quoting reference 26 20/04/22.
