A TWO-DAY outdoor concert to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will take place in Darlington this weekend.
Firthmoor Community Centre are celebrating the Jubilee in style by hosting the largest community event in Darlington.
Firthmoor LIVE was launched in 2016 and has seen various themed events, such as the Hawaiian Party, Australian and one to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday.
This year, Firthmoor Community Centre have announced that Firthmoor LIVE will be a two day event to mark the special occasion.
There’s fun for all of the family with activities across Saturday 4 and Sunday June 5, including an outdoor concert with tribute acts, bands, and entertainment.
There will also be fairground rides, food stalls, beer tents, face painting and various stalls. Gates open at 12 noon each day and will close at 8pm.

The fire brigade aerial ladder will be there too.
In recent years over 4,000 people from across Tees Valley have attended the one-day event and this year’s two-day weekend event is free entry.

12.30pm - Tom Powell Music
Tom will be performing a selection of songs from the 60’s but will open his set with a very special rendition of God Save The Queen so have you flags at the ready!
1.30pm - JenAmi
An acoustic duo with full harmony experience covering songs from all genres and decades including Chaka Khan, Kings of Leon, Ed Sheeran, Tina Turner, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morrisette, Bryan Adams and much more!
2.30pm - The Boyz
As seen on Britain's Got Talent !
This fantastic high energy vocal harmony band oozes talent and charisma. They deliver superb versions of songs by Westlife, Elvis Presley, Take That, George Ezra, Olly Murs, Rat Pack, Boyzone, Michael Buble, Tom Jones, Killers, Kings Of Leon and many more
4pm - Gin n Juice

5pm - Claire Willmer
Fun party classics from Darlington’s own stunning songstress Claire Willmer
6.15pm - Reflex 80s
Tight harmonies, high energy, and an outstanding stage presence all come together to recreate the wonderful times of the 1980s. The band’s repertoire includes songs that reflect the best of the era, so join us for a fun 80s singalong!
