A TV drama about the notorious case of canoe man John Darwin and his wife has been nominated for three gongs at the National Television Awards (NTA).
The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe, which aired on ITV at Easter, was nominated in three categories.
The show, which dramatises the real-life story of the couple, who were jailed for fraud following an elaborate ruse, is up for an award in the best new drama category.
And lead actors Eddie Marsan and Monica Dolan, who play John and Anne Darwin, are also up for acting awards.

The four-part series was praised when it aired earlier this year – though some local viewers were critical at the pair’s “Geordie” accents.
It takes on the real-life story of how Darwin faked his death in the North Sea in 2002 before the Seaton Carew couple started a new life in Panama.
The tale unravelled when Darwin came back from the dead in 2007, claiming to have suffered amnesia and the pair were jailed for the fraud.
The script was written by Chris Lang, who carried out extensive research on the plot.
It was filmed around Hartlepool, Seaton Carew and Middlesbrough last year.
Members of the public get to vote for their favourites in all 16 of the categories.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony at Wembley’s OVO arena on Thursday, September 15, in a live show hosted by The Masked Singer’s Joel Dommett.
It is free to take part in the public vote. All votes must be in by 11pm on Monday, June 6 and the shortlist will be revealed in August.
