A CYCLIST was left with a fractured spine after a collision involving a black Nissan Qashqai.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened in Thornaby at about 7.50am on Wednesday, May 18.
It happened on the Thornaby Road interchange roundabout with the A66/A1130/George Street.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said the incident involved a cyclist and a black Nissan Qashqai.
After medical treatment it was found that the cyclist, a male aged in his forties, had a fracture to his spine.
Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident is asked to contact PC David State on 101, quoting incident number 083805.
