A MAN has appeared in court in connection with an alleged attack which left two people in hospital.

Callum Mark Webster has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent following an incident in Darlington in the early hours of Saturday.

Two men suffered injuries and were transported to hospital by the North East Ambulance Service. 

One man is being treated in hospital and is understood to be in a stable condition.

The second man has been discharged.

Webster, 21, whose address was listed in court as Moorlands Park, Longtown, in Cumbria, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).

The case was adjourned until June 13, when he will appear at Teesside Crown Court.

He was granted conditional bail until that hearing.
