A TEEN has admitted a racially aggravated attack with the intent of causing harassment and distress.
Ben Thomson, of Romanby, North Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to the offence at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The court heard Thomson, 19, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, causing his victim harassment, alarm or distress at Vimy Barracks, Catterick Garrison on March 26.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
Thomson, of Boroughbridge Road, was banned from visiting Catterick Garrison for 12 months and must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
