A MAN in his 50s was injured during a burglary in the early hours of Saturday.
The victim was at his home in east Cleveland when an unknown group of males entered and used weapons to assault him before stealing property.
The Carlin How man was taken to hospital after being attacked.
The group are reported to have entered the property in Grosvenor Terrace, between 2.30am and 2.50am on Saturday, May 7.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries and wounds to his head and arm, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police said.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
