POLICE officers have confirmed that a man has been found dead inside a North East house after they were alerted to a disturbance at the address.
Emergency services were called to a property on Heron Close in Washington at around 4.30pm yesterday (May 8) after reports of a 'disturbance'.
After attending the scene, a man was found dead inside the property.

It's thought that there was no third-party involvement in the death, according to police officers investigating the case.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday) officers received a report of a disturbance inside an address on Heron Close, Washington.
“Officers attended and found a man deceased inside a house. His family have been notified.
“There is not currently believed to be any third party involvement in the man’s death and a report will be made for the coroner.”
