A MAN and woman have been arrested after entering a property and attacking a man in his own home.
The incident happened soon after 11pm on Monday, May 2 at an address in Brompton near Northallerton.

Police say they received reports of a man who had been attacked at his home address in the area.
Officers attended two addresses in Northallerton on May 3 and arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 52-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

Police say the man and woman are currently in police custody.
