A PERSONAL safety class for women and girls in Darlington was such a hit that other sessions have been added.
The first session last Sunday (May 1) at The Dolphin Centre had a great response that now the session for May 8 is fully booked but other classes have been added on May 15 and 22.
The events are free but booking is essential so do not delay if you are interested.
The classes will be held each Sunday from 10am to 1.30pm, with tickets released a couple of weeks in advance of each event.

Women will learn self-defence and other sills to protect themselves with a top martial arts teacher.
It is in response to the police’s Call It Out survey of 1,300 people about how safe they felt in the town.
Inspector Dean Haythornthwaite, from Darlington Neighbourhood Police Team, said: “We want everyone to feel safe when they come to Darlington and will not tolerate any form of harassment, violence, inappropriate behaviour or sexual offending.
“Through the Safer Streets project we have been working hard to help keep people safe while making the streets a more hostile place for people looking to commit these offences.
“We are hosting the personal safety sessions as a direct result of the Call It Out survey, in which a number of respondents suggested they were interested in learning personal safety and self-defence techniques.
“We hope that participants find the sessions beneficial and that they will give them some useful skills to help keep themselves safe.”
