A BMW driver has been fined hundreds of pounds for driving without due care and attention on York's ring road.
Callum O'Brien, 24, was sentenced on Wednesday (April 20) for the offence committed on the A1237 in York on September 3, 2021.

He pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and North Yorkshire Magistrates sitting at York fined him £300.
O'Brien, of Seventh Avenue, York, was also ordered to pay £90 court costs, a £34 victim surcharge and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
His driving licence was also endorsed with nine penalty points.
This means the total he has to pay the courts is £424.
