TWO women are still being treated in hospital following a horror crash which saw a car leave the road and drove onto a North East beach.
It happened in Saltburn at about 8.17pm on Easter Monday.
There was a huge emergency response after the blue Audi went onto the beach near the promenade and pier.

Two women were taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain today.
A man in his 70s was arrested following the crash.
The car ended up in the sea after driving across the beach.
Cleveland Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to get in touch and to send officers any video or other footage they have of the incident.
In a statement last night, police confirmed four people had been injured after a car went onto the beach.
It added: “A man in his 70s has been arrested whilst officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
"We received reports at around 8.17pm, that a blue Audi had gone onto the beach near to the Promenade and Pier.
"Two women have been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, and two other people have minor injuries which didn't require immediate treatment."
The investigation into what happened is continuing.
Anyone with information or footage relating to the incident is asked to call 101 and ask for Cleveland.
