AN OUTDOORS shop is set to open on Teesside following a revamp.
The Go Outdoors store is in Portrack Lane, Stockton.
The refreshed store will open on Tuesday, April 19 and outdoor enthusiast and TV presenter Helen Skelton will officially cut the ribbon at an event on April 23, when she will also answer questions from the public.

John Hinde, associate director at Go Outdoors, said: “We are really excited to be in the position to be opening this new store, to serve our customers in Stockton. We’ve been incredibly proud to see it all come to life in its new location and are looking forward to seeing our customers’ reaction.
"The decision to invest in the Stockton store was a simple one. We have created a great team who have been delighting customers for years in other retail roles so I’m confident our customers will be just as thrilled as we are with their new store.”
Go Outdoors has more than 65 shops across the country and is expanding thanks to recent sales increases as people's interest in outdoor pursuits grows.
The Stockton shop will sell a range of tents, camping equipment, waterproof jackets, walking boots, bikes, rucksacks and more.
The store stocks a variety of brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, HiGear and Brasher.
It will also feature concessions from Naylors, Wheelbase and Fishing Republic, offering equestrian, cycling and angling advice and equipment.
To celebrate its opening, customers can get 15 per cent of everything in store from April 19 to May 2.
The official opening will be from 9am on Saturday, April 23 when TV presented Helen Skelton will cut the ribbon and answer questions from the public.
The first 100 customers through the door will get goodie bags worth more than £20 and a £20 voucher to spend in store.
