IF you're planning on visiting the Metrocentre this weekend to make use of the Easter bank holiday, it is probably wise to plan ahead.
That is because the opening times of the shopping centre have been adjusted for the four-day break starting from today (April 15).
Bosses have released the full opening times of the Gateshead venue to ensure shoppers do not miss out and arrive when the centre is due to close.

It comes as thousands of shoppers are set to descend on the shopping centre as children are off school and some are fortunate to have the time off work.
Shoppers have also been urged to familiarise themselves with the opening times of car parks as some will be closed over the bank holiday.
Here's when the centre will open
Friday, April 15 - Good Friday - 10am - 6pm
Saturday, April 16 - Normal Trading - 9am - 7pm
Sunday, April 17 - Easter Sunday - Shops closed
Monday, April 18 - Easter Monday - 10am - 6pm
Although the shopping centre will be closed, some leisure and restaurants may continue to operate. Shoppers should contact businesses individually for opening times.
When will the car parks open?
The Metrocentre has said its Red and Green Mall car parks will open at 8.15am and close at 7pm on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18.
It said that on Easter Sunday, its Red and Green Mall car parks will be completely closed with Yellow and Blue Mall car parks open for leisure and dining.
Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday, April 19.
