AS many get ready for the Easter bank holiday weekend, a number of road closures will be in place across County Durham.
Disruption is expected in parts of the county as a full list of closures that will affect travel this weekend have been released ahead of the four-day event.
According to Durham County Council, the following roads will be shut over the period for various reasons including sewer repairs and public events.
The duration of closure varies per road with one closed for the day and another remaining shut for a number of weeks due to external work.

So we've looked through the list to bring you the recently announced, and ongoing, road closures that could affect you if you are travelling this weekend.
We've included immediate closures for this weekend and closures that could cause disruption over the next few weeks.
Beverley Terrace, Catchgate
Currently closed until April 15 for emergency sewer repairs.
Owengate, Durham City
Currently closed on April 18 due to an event of around 1,000 people for Durham University.
Raby Gardens, Bishop Auckland, Durham
Currently closed until April 19 due to a water main repair by Northumbrian Water.
St Lawrence Road, High Pittington, Durham
Currently closed until April 21 for water main repair by Northumbrian Water.
Framwelgate Peth, Aykley Heads, Durham
Currently closed until April 26 for gas main renewal by Northern Gas Networks.
Wolsingham Road, Brancepeth, Durham / Sandy Lonnen, Waterhouses, Durham
Currently closed until May 1 for carriageway patching works by Durham County Council.
Gilesgate, Durham City
Currently closed until May 6 for work by Northern Gas Networks.
High Street, Willington, Durham / South Street, Willington, Durham
Currently closed until May 23 for renewal of gas main by Northern Gas Networks.
Hutton Terrace, Willington, Durham
Currently closed until May 27 for renewal of gas main by Northern Gas Networks.
