A MAN broke into a social club and demanded money from the residents of an upstairs flat.
Detectives are appealing for information following the burglary in Darlington on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at an address above Haughton-Le-Skerne Working Mens Club at around 1.40am.
It is believed the suspect broke into the club before demanding money from the victims in the upstairs flat.
The suspect who is described as wearing dark coloured hoodie, trousers, gloves and a face mask made off on foot towards Houghton Green.
Officers are now keen to obtain CCTV footage from residents living in the area and anyone with information in relation to the incident.
They are also particularly interested in speaking to the driver of a motorbike who was parked on Welbeck Avenue at the time of the incident.
