Four Newcastle-based restaurants have been named on SquareMeal's Top 100 UK restaurants list.
Route Bistro, The Patricia, House of Tides, and Peace & Loaf all gained a well-deserved spot on the highly acclaimed list.
House of Tides achieved the highest spot out of the four coming in at 41st in a list of 100.
The Michelin star venue has an array of exciting food from native lobster with lemon and chervil or scallops with pork belly, sweetcorn and lardo to salt aged duck with apricot, black garlic and cauliflower or mussels, leek, sea purslane and caviar.
Its also well known for its impressive wine list that will leave you waiting to try them all.
Next was Peace & Loaf with the 50th spot on the list.
The Modern European restaurants have an array of unique creations from signature cocktails to artisan bread and beer.
It's well known for reinventing traditional British food, with a deconstructed fish and chips pie, salted caramel tart with burnt butter, and much more.
Route Bistro also based in Newcastle gets spot 73 on the list by SqaureMeal.

Last on the list for Newcastle is The Patricia just behind Route at 74 on the list.
The Patricia is considered one of the best restaurants in Newcastle and offers a combination of modern bistro-style cooking with European influences.
The Patricia offers an ever-changing three-course menu with the option to build on it with snacks and sides.
Examples of dishes might include burrata with casino di caprafico oil, braised beef with ratte potatoes gem lettuce and gorgonzola fonduta and chocolate mousse with Yorkshire rhubarb and salted peanuts.
