A MIDDLESBROUGH woman has been fined after she went nearly 20mph over the speed limit while travelling on the M62.
Mary Hughes, 21 of Ayton Road in Stokesley, Middlesbrough appeared before magistrates court on Tuesday (April 5) charged with the offence.

She was charged with speeding when an automatic camera device clocked her going 77mph in a 60mph zone.
Hughes pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £120 and given three points on her licence.
She was also made to pay £34 to victim services and £90 in court costs.

Hughes was also charged with failing to give information in relation to the identification of the driver at the time of the incident, however, this was withdrawn.
