POLICE officers from Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses, CCTV, and dash cam footage following a crash involving a young girl in Redcar.
The incident happened on Brittania Place around 6pm on Thursday March 31, when a grey or silver vehicle collided with a 7-year-old girl, leaving her with a broken leg requiring surgery.
The vehicle did not stop at the scene, and continued along Britannia Place, turning down an alley in the general direction of Westfield Way.

It is believed that the vehicle could have possibly been a Nissan Note, and officers would be keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the vehicle or any witnesses who may have information.
